November 2010 update – Paris, France and info regarding Ihokas myspace site.

Hi.

Due recent layout changes (guest & admin) with myspace, I have decided to quit updating Ihokas myspace.com profile. All the flashing ads etc. are giving me headache, probably doing same for fans and listeners. So I’m quitting active promoting of my myspace-site. In the end of this blog update, there is info where you can find Ihokas music on internet.

Currently I’m working with music videos (see links), new max/msp patches and developing IOKO -live patch. I’m also working with new music and building CMOS-synths. More about maxmsp patches and CMOS-synths on later blog posts.

I’m in Paris, France in artists residency during 11/2010 – 1/2011 and I’m looking for opportunities for live performances and participating/keeping workshops related to Arduino, maxmsp and CMOS-synths… basically any information about Paris media art and sound art scene interests me. I have most of my equipment with me, including Arduinos, electronic components, ic-chips, midi controllers, small mixer etc.

During mid-december 2010, my colleague and friend (Dennis Tan, SNG/GER http://www.tandennis.net/) is coming from Bremen, Germany for a visit and during his visit we are having tinkering, jams etc. and in the end, open studio event. More info about this later.

Next friday 19.11 I’m participating (as guest) in Black Boxe event, 17 rue de la Chapelle, Paris.
